My goal to not screw up in London has already been proven wrong on the first day of walking around, i would be lost if my pictures of google map didn't help me... The street levels of the theatres in Central London all look the same and it's extremely confusing trying to determine your location by the looks of the buildings. I must say that Central London is a litt bit disappointing, it is a very commercial place and it is hard to find anything interesting unless you turn into the small alleys - Which is where i spent most of the time wondering around today.
Whoever told me that the food in London is terrible, sorry i didn't believe you before. A simple ham and cheese sandwich was the most disappointing meal i had here, and my tongue is still numb from whatever spices they put in the bread. Guess i will be cooking a lot more often than i expect...
The location of the office was not what i expected either, when i first walked into the dark alley i thought the company gave me the wrong address, and i ended up arriving at the huge glass doors in astonishment. Now that got me excited for next monday.
My part-time job hunting wasn't that successful though, i am hoping that i will come across a coffeeshop that makes me want to walk in and stay there, i guess i was searching in the wrong part of London... Or maybe i should just try Starbucks haha.
